I’m Juhriah Smith, a Columbus-based web developer and the owner of iSpec LLC — a licensed general contracting company that’s been building in Columbus since 2016. I built juhriah.com because I needed real web infrastructure for iSpec: a main site that generates leads, funnel sites that rank for local searches, and a hosting setup I control.
Everything in this portfolio came out of that process. The lead scoring system, the multi-domain funnel strategy, the PHP handlers — all of it was built for iSpec first and refined through real use. What works for a Columbus contractor works for most local service businesses.
I build on Bootstrap 4, PHP, and CodeIgniter 4. No page builders. No WordPress unless a client specifically needs it. Hand-coded, deployed to cPanel, and built to last without monthly plugin updates breaking things.
Columbus is home. Every client is local or working with someone local. If you’re a Columbus small business that needs a site that actually generates leads — not just looks good in a browser — that’s what I build.
A few things I believe about web development that shape how every project gets built.
A site without a lead capture system is a brochure. Every site I build has a working contact form, a PHP handler, and at minimum a basic scoring system so you know which inquiries are worth prioritizing.
One site rarely dominates all the search terms that matter. A main site plus two or three funnel domains targeting specific queries can capture far more search intent than any single domain.
WordPress plugins slow sites down, break on updates, and bloat the codebase. Bootstrap + PHP loads fast, runs clean, and you control everything. I’ll use WordPress if a client truly needs it, but it’s never the default.
Shared hosting resellers put you in control of your clients’ uptime, not a third party. cPanel/WHM reseller hosting means I manage the infrastructure, handle the support, and clients deal with one person.

The iSpec site ecosystem — main site plus three funnel domains — is the primary portfolio of this work. All four sites are live, all are indexed by Google, and all generate real leads through the same PHP scoring and routing system.
